Series Title: “Divine Success: Discovering God’s Purpose for Your Life” Daily Devotional
Inspired by Tom Cronin
Devotional 1: “All the Details”
Scripture: Isaiah 25:1
(“O Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; for You have worked wonders, plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.”)

Reflection:
It took me years—decades, really—to understand that God’s purpose for my life wasn’t just tied to a title, position, or success. For so long, I believed in His grand plan for the world, but I struggled to accept He had a unique design for me.
I thought I had to earn it, prove myself worthy, and check every spiritual box before He’d reveal it. But the truth? God had already woven a purpose into my life before I ever took my first breath.
God’s Word reminds us that His plans are “formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.” Nothing about your life is accidental. Even the delays, detours, and heartbreaks serve a purpose. He is a Master Planner, and you are His beloved creation.
I’ve lived through seasons where I resisted His voice, tried to chart my own course, and ended up in places I was never meant to be. But even then—especially then—He was working out all the details. Not just the big moments, but the unseen ones: the closed doors, the whispered prayers, the unexpected meetings.
Trust this: God doesn’t miss a single detail in your life. If He knows the number of hairs on your head, then surely He knows the direction of your path. Let go of the pressure to have it all figured out. Instead, lean into the One who already has.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for knowing every detail of my life and for loving me through each one. Help me surrender control and trust Your plan, even when I can’t see the full picture. I know You are working in the background, guiding me step by step. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
