ISIS Terrorist: We'll Attack NYC Soon Friday, 26 Sep 2014 10:03 AM An Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist has said that the extremist Islamic group has planned an imminent attack on New York City and that his jihadist "brothers" are in the process of finalizing a plan. 'MUSLIM CONVERT' BEHEADS WOMAN IN U.S. HEARTLAND FBI probing ex-employee's background after workplace carnage Are you prepared for a disaster that could affect the daily function of your life or the lives of your family members? Or do you even believe a disaster will ever affect you? Earthquakes, blizzards, hurricanes, electrical power outages, and who knows what else happen all the time. Still, most Americans ignore the warnings. “It can’t happen here,” some say. “The government will take care of me if it does,” others think. But not only do they happen, they can happen to you. And when they do, you will be on your own. The tragedy of September 11 illustrates this well. Look at the total disruption of transportation and emergency services in New York City immediately following the terrorist attack. This was followed by the immediate and complete paralysis of air transportation throughout the United States. Thousands were stranded for days on their own in strange cities. Anthrax attacks followed, paralyzing the mail service and spreading terror across the nation. Hazardous materials teams and health departments throughout the nation...

Destination Success

DESTINATION: SUCCESS by: Tom Cronin The path to success is a journey in life that we must navigate with faith in your dream and a desire for success that is greater than your fear of failure. All journeys to success have paths that we must choose to take that will be fraught with perils that we can never plan for. We must strive continually to overcome the obstacles that life throws at us to take our mind off course. Success is a way of life; it is an intense desire and enthusiasm for an idea and purpose that makes life worth living for. We must initiate that desire within us, then develop and uphold that yearning to succeed as a pattern, a way of life with a measured strategy for triumphs. We must cultivate and create a vision for our future. We must have a plan, a sense of purpose. We define our starting point, our purpose and our destination to success.  What is your final destination? Passion is critical for our success. It is motivation, a vision for your future, dim though it may be. That vision leads to setting goals, short-term goals and long-term goals, and a plan for your path to success. Resolve is the key to success. Successful people strive no matter what they feel by applying their will to overcome indifference, uncertainty or anxiety....

Remembering 911

The September 11, 2001 attacks consisted of a series of coordinated suicide terrorist attacks upon the United States, predominantly targeting civilians, carried out on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. That morning, 19 men affiliated with al-Qaeda hijacked four commercial passenger jet airliners. Each team of hijackers included a trained pilot. Two planes (United Airlines Flight 175 and American Airlines Flight 11) crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City, one plane into each tower (One and Two). Both towers collapsed within two hours. The pilot of the third team crashed a plane into the Pentagon in Arlington County, Virginia. Passengers and members of the flight crew on the fourth aircraft attempted to retake control of their plane from the hijackers; that plane crashed into a field near the town of Shanksville in rural Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Excluding the 19 hijackers, a confirmed 2,973 people died and another 24 remain missing as a result of these attacks. The tragic events of September 11, 2001 have had a profound effect upon our nation and its people. We recall and relive the anger, grief, and sadness the appalling terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon produced in us. This day of infamy will remain in our collective memory for a very long time. We mourn those who died so tragically in the stunning assault upon our fellow citizens...
